Most Canadian job-seekers should limit their resumes to about the past 10 or 15 years. It is more important to be relevant than strictly adhere to a time limit. Where older experience has been a skill, achievement, qualification, or a career link that is relevant to the application, it may be retained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hard part is determining what to include today. Your resume is not a record of your entire career. It provides a sufficient amount of history to make the argument seem credible, but also devotes the most attention to evidence that supports the position. It is quite significant for applicants to determine how far back to go on resume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
